T-Rex Engineering was founded in 1996 in Vejle, Denmark, by two guitarists and engineers Lars Dahl-Jorgensen and Sebastian Jensen. The company is known for its unbeatable quality and scrupulous selection of audio components. Just imagine, T-Rex Engineering uses potentiometers that go up to 100.000 circle-turns before showing signs of audio noise (military standard is 40.000 circle-turns…).

  • T-Rex Replica delay - is the most known pedal made by T-Rex and it got the Guitar Player Magazines Pick Award. It has warm analog tone, tap tempo control, delay’s subdivision parameter from 1/4 to 1/8 triplets.
  • Reptile 2 - is a delay pedal that emulates analog sounding tape echo. Flutter section introduces that touch of random-sounding “warble” to your delay for great retro tape-effect sound.
  • The Replicator - this is not the best ambient delay you could imagine – no multiply sophisticated repeats and crystal clear tone. But some of you might be obsessive about vintage analog sound, so - this is it. The Replicator is T-Rex Engineering´s take on the ultimate tape echo unit, complete with a motor, magnetic heads and a tape cartridge. They made a tape echo unit that nailed the sound quality of the old echo units, but surpassed them in features. Tap tempo, two playback heads for three output modes and a chorus mode that modulates the pitch of the echoes. Needs a tape cartridge (available separately).
